New Roster Addition - Casimir

We’ll be a bit honest and say this website has needed some tending to for a while. SO, before we smugly introduce the brilliant Casimir to the Two Tap fold, we’d also like to mention you can have a look at some updated case studies of some of our recent work. Here or over there »»»»

But now, to welcome the boys above *rolls out red carpet*

Welcome Casimir! We’re delighted to be working the band and Fear of Fiction on their debut EP, ‘Not Mathematics’. The first track from said EP, ‘Balancing Act’, had its video premiere last week on NME.com, with a brand new track due to surface this week (y).

Watch the video below. And stop those arguments about guitar music - Casimir are just here to be AMAZING.

New Roster Additions: Amusement + Wolf Alice

It’s an exciting day when you can announce not one but TWO new roster additions, and that day is today. We’re happy to say that both London’s Wolf Alice and Amusement are now both part of the Two Tap Digital family. So here’s a quick introduction to both:

Croydon based Amusement have come a long way in the past 12 months. Having initially being conceived as the duo of Andrew Smith and Joe Sigee, their initial demos and remixes garnered praise from Huw Stephens, Rob Da Bank, NME, The Quietus, The Line Of Best Fit, RCRD LBL, XLR8R, Abeano and many more.

Since then, they’ve focussed on building a formidable live show and procured the services of drummer Ulysses Alvarez and bass player Holly Hardy whilst supporting the likes of King Krule, Arthur Beatrice, Gabriel Bruce and Niki & The Dove to name but a few.

Their new track, ‘King Of The World’, is a perfect display of their continued class and premiered on Monday via Noisey.

Wolf Alice consist of Ellie Rowsell, Joel Amey and Joff. Joff’s huge mancrush on Willy Mason had him and Ellie playing folk music out and about in North London. It was only when they met Joel, with his real ray bans and huge collars, that they decided to ditch the acoustic guitar and learn a thing or two about rock ‘n’ roll. Now they play head banging psychofreak poprock, keeping the sensitive lyrics and sharp melodies that had already got them a fair crowd at their gigs. The DIY aspect of Wolf Alice combined with an almost haunting intelligence makes for “the most charming band since Busted”.

They have a string of live dates coming up and premiered ‘Leaving You’, which (again) you can hear above, on NME.

New Roster Addition - ABADABAD

Well this was all pretty well timed, wasn’t it? Sun out, life being loved…

ABADABAD have been the perfect accompaniment to this Olympic Summer in our stereo for a little while now (yeah - we keep these things secret to agitate and gloat). We’re really thrilled to be working with them on their debut EP, The Wild. It’s an absolute killer : a brilliant amalgamation of everything joyfully, intelligently pop in Vampire Weekend mixed the warm, vinyl of The Beach Boys. It’s impossible not to gleefully sway.

Click through to their new page to have a listen to the first cut from the EP, ‘All The Bros Say’ (yep), and have a read on what their background is like and all that kind of stuff.

New Roster Addition | SAF

Towards the tail end of last year, we had the pleasure of venturing to Paris to watch something really quite exciting. Parachuted into an industrial estate on the outskirts of Europe’s Capital of Romance, we were treated to what was the first live excursion of SAF - a brother/sister fronted tour de force backed by comrade Darius Keeler of Archive.

This morning (6th June) we had the pleasure of announcing to the world their first recorded statement in the form of the ‘Nailstorm EP’ - an unrelenting four track player displaying an effervescent mixture of shredded guitars, pounding electronics - all stitched beautifully together by Marianne Elise’s ‘look but don’t touch’ vocal lines.

Check out the live video for title track ‘Nailstorm’ below and take a listen to more recordings over on the band’s page now.

New Roster Addition | Torches

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of working on a split single from two of our favourite London acts - Crushed Beaks and Torches. The pair scaled new heights with covers of each others tracks and Torches’ rework of Crushed Beaks’ ‘Close-Ups’ not only got our apostrophes in place but dropped our glass jaws to the ground with its apocalyptic twist on the original’s blistering punk pace.

This morning, we were thrilled to premiere the brand new single from this London 5 piece on The Guardian in the form of ‘Sky Blue & Ivory’ - an empassioned call to arms that sets the band on their own darkened trail towards stardom.

The single will be available on 23rd July via new label Fractions of One (available to pre-order now), with the band performing a number of live shows in the run-up to release, culminating in a special single launch show at The Sebright Arms on 26th July.

Stream the single below and keep your ear to the ground. This is just the beginning of an incredibly exciting journey for Torches….
